Grand Junction is the hub of Colorado's Western Slope, with I-70 running through it between the Rockies and the canyon country of eastern Utah. That location puts an RV here within reach of red rock monuments, high mountain lakes, orchards, and wineries, which is exactly the mix renters are looking for. If your trailer or motorhome spends most of the year parked, RV rental management can put it to work. RV Management USA assigns your RV to a Fleet Manager, who takes over the listing, screens each renter, meets them at pickup and return, then cleans and inspects the RV once they leave. You collect a share of every booking and keep full say over when the RV is available for your own adventures.
Full commercial rental insurance on every trip. Your personal premiums are never affected.
It's still your RV. Reserve it for your own vacations whenever you want, at no charge.
We offer discoutned storage at all our locations.

Renters starting in Grand Junction can be on one of Colorado's great scenic drives in minutes. Colorado National Monument is right on the edge of town, and its 23 mile Rim Rock Drive climbs switchbacks to canyon rim views of Independence Monument and Balanced Rock, with Saddlehorn Campground near the top. On the other side of the valley, Grand Mesa is the largest flat-topped mountain in the world, covering about 500 square miles with more than 300 lakes scattered across its summit near 11,000 feet. Down valley, the orchards and vineyards around Palisade host the Colorado Mountain Winefest each September, and the canyon country around Moab and Arches National Park, home to more than 2,000 natural stone arches, is an easy run west on I-70.
On the Western Slope, consignment lets a Grand Junction owner collect booking income while the hosting falls to a professional. The Fleet Manager prices and posts the RV, screens and answers renters, keeps reservations straight, walks each guest through the rig, checks it back in, cleans it and arranges service when something needs attention. The location makes it worthwhile: Colorado National Monument and Rim Rock Drive are on the edge of town, Grand Mesa and its more than 300 lakes are across the valley, Palisade's orchards and wineries are down valley, and Moab and Arches National Park are an easy run west on I-70. Bookings range from family vacations and lake weekends to wine country visits and longer canyon country loops. Owners get a new revenue stream, expert management, a full clean and look-over after each trip, more evenings free from renter messages, and the RV whenever they want it. That is a smarter plan than leaving the rig parked through the Western Slope's best weather.
Yes. Whether it is parked in town or out toward Palisade, a Grand Junction RV can legally take renters with a valid title, Colorado registration and insurance that fits rental use. Each booking carries protection under an approved rental platform or commercial rental policy, as personal RV policies generally exclude paid trips. Keep income records for taxes, and confirm that HOA covenants, storage yard terms and City of Grand Junction or Mesa County rules allow rentals. RV Management USA walks owners through the list, and RV Management 101 has more.
Along the I-70 corridor on the Western Slope, what a Grand Junction RV makes depends on the model and its condition, where it is stored, the time of year, open dates and how many travelers are looking. Prime weather for Colorado National Monument, Grand Mesa and trips into Utah drives the best months. As a general estimate, owners can see around $8,000 or more across the peak rental season, roughly May to October. Family motorhomes, well equipped travel trailers, bunkhouse models and newer RVs with good air conditioning for desert summers tend to earn the most. The strongest earners in Grand Junction are Class C motorhomes and bunk-equipped travel trailers. Toy haulers have a following for off-road riding in the high desert, and camper vans suit couples touring wineries and trailheads. Renters often face desert heat and mountain roads in the same week, so strong air conditioning and a good generator help. See the bigger picture on our Colorado page.
Around $44 per month gets a basic outdoor RV space in the Grand Junction valley, while the average advertised rate across the handful of local facilities that list online is closer to $235. Length, RV type and amenities all play in, and covered or enclosed space carries a premium over open parking. Both are available around town, though choices are more limited than in a large metro, so looking early in spring helps.
Our territory managers work with professional on-site maintenance teams to make sure your RV is meticulously maintained throughout the year. Your RV will benefit form ongoing attention and basic maintenance like tire checks before and after each rental, roof and slide out checks once a month, ongoing appliance testing, routine oil changes, and more. We want your RV in top shape all the time so that it can continue to perform well and generate revenue. As an RV owner in our program, there are 3 main types of maintenance costs to consider:
1) Routine maintenance: Oil changes, tire rotations, etc. Owners are billed periodically for these expenses at discounted rates, and the deduction can often come directly from the rental profits in a given month.
2) Rental Damages: Any damage to an RV that happens on a rental will be covered fully by the renter's security deposit and/or the commercial insurance coverage. Our managers deal with all claims and repairs at no cost to the RV owner - renters pay the deductible and your personal insurance is not involved.
3) Systemic maintenance: Systemic issues are the responsibility of the RV owner. A/C failure, water pump failure, fridge or hot water tank failure, etc. These are costs that arise from no fault of the renter. Warranty protection plans usually cover these systemic repairs, and our managers work with the warranty company and RV techs to get these fixed. Our managers will work with you to get your RV back in top shape as quickly and professionally as possible.
Grand Junction's rental window stretches from around May to October, a longer run than in the high mountain towns. Spring and fall are especially strong in the canyons, mid summer sends families up to Grand Mesa's cooler lakes, and storms or festivals can push demand either way. September stands out, when the Colorado Mountain Winefest draws visitors to Palisade and fall color starts on the mesa.
After approval, a Grand Junction RV goes to a Fleet Manager chosen by RV Management USA, who handles cleaning, upkeep, the listing and every rental, including seasonal pricing and each pickup and return. I-70 traffic between Denver and Utah's national parks brings travelers through town with plans for the monument and Moab, which keeps local owners booked. Owners farther south can visit our Durango page, and those who spend time across the border can see Utah.
