Las Vegas welcomes huge numbers of visitors, and a good share of them want more than a hotel tower. Race fans, rodeo crowds, and festival goers book RVs to stay together near the venues, while national park travelers fly into Harry Reid International and start loops to Zion, Death Valley, and the Grand Canyon from here. That mix keeps a well kept rig busy. Enroll in our RV rental management program and your RV goes to Let's Go Camping RV Rentals, our local Fleet Manager in Las Vegas. Las Vegas has serious scenery minutes from the Strip. About 17 miles west, Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area offers a 13-mile scenic loop with a string of overlooks, and its campground is open in the cooler months. Beyond it rise the Spring Mountains, where the Spring Mountains National Recreation Area spreads over more than 316,000 acres and Mount Charleston tops out at 11,918 feet, cool enough for summer hiking and winter skiing in Lee Canyon. Lake Mead lies east of the valley, and longer drives lead to Zion, Death Valley, and the Grand Canyon.
Placing an RV in Las Vegas on consignment lets it make money for its owner without adding a second job. Our local Fleet Manager, Let's Go Camping RV Rentals, creates the listing, answers every renter inquiry, books the trips, does the check-in and the return inspection, cleans the RV, keeps in contact with renters while they travel, and coordinates any maintenance. Las Vegas makes the program worth it because Red Rock Canyon, Mount Charleston, Lake Mead, the Las Vegas Motor Speedway, and the arenas along the Strip all bring people who want to stay in an RV. Renters book race and rodeo weeks, family national park loops, festival weekends, and cool season desert trips. In return, owners get income potential, professional rental support, steady cleaning and inspections, almost no time spent handling renters, and use of the RV whenever they reserve it. An RV baking in a valley storage lot through spring and fall misses the best weather Las Vegas has, and renting it lets those weeks pay toward ownership.
Yes. An RV based in Las Vegas can be rented legally once it is titled, registered, and insured in Nevada. Renters on every trip are protected through an approved rental platform or commercial rental policy, because standard personal coverage usually excludes paid use. Rental income may be taxable, and many master planned communities in the valley have HOA rules on parking an RV, so check those along with Clark County rules and your storage contract. RV Management USA guides owners across the valley through the process, and our RV Management 101 page spells it out.
In the Las Vegas market, an RV's income turns on its type, where it is kept, the season, condition, open dates, and how much demand the Strip's event calendar creates. Big race weekends, the rodeo in December, and spring trips to Red Rock and Zion can bring meaningful income. As a general estimate, owners here make around $10,000 to $20,000 or more per year. Luxury motorhomes lead, followed by newer units, bunkhouse models for families, and rigs parked near the speedway and the I-15 corridor. Get a number for your RV with our RV rental income calculator.
Luxury motorhomes earn the most in Las Vegas, led by Class A coaches and large Class C units that let event groups stay together near the venues. Other units that do well are toy haulers and bunkhouse trailers. A strong generator and air conditioning that keeps up in the desert sun matter, because renters often camp without hookups near the speedway and out at Red Rock.
Across the Las Vegas Valley, expect to spend roughly $125 to $275 a month on one RV's space ($4 to $9 per foot each month, based on a 30 foot rig). The size of the coach, the security at the gate and whether a space has shade or walls all move the figure. With summer heat topping 110 degrees, a canopy or garage protects roofs and tires. Lots are spread across the valley, while Let's Go Camping RV Rentals is another place owners can check for room.
Our territory managers work with professional on-site maintenance teams to make sure your RV is meticulously maintained throughout the year. Your RV will benefit form ongoing attention and basic maintenance like tire checks before and after each rental, roof and slide out checks once a month, ongoing appliance testing, routine oil changes, and more. We want your RV in top shape all the time so that it can continue to perform well and generate revenue. As an RV owner in our program, there are 3 main types of maintenance costs to consider:
1) Routine maintenance: Oil changes, tire rotations, etc. Owners are billed periodically for these expenses at discounted rates, and the deduction can often come directly from the rental profits in a given month.
2) Rental Damages: Any damage to an RV that happens on a rental will be covered fully by the renter's security deposit and/or the commercial insurance coverage. Our managers deal with all claims and repairs at no cost to the RV owner - renters pay the deductible and your personal insurance is not involved.
3) Systemic maintenance: Systemic issues are the responsibility of the RV owner. A/C failure, water pump failure, fridge or hot water tank failure, etc. These are costs that arise from no fault of the renter. Warranty protection plans usually cover these systemic repairs, and our managers work with the warranty company and RV techs to get these fixed. Our managers will work with you to get your RV back in top shape as quickly and professionally as possible.
The busy stretch in Las Vegas usually runs from about October through May, when desert trips are comfortable and the event calendar is packed. Weather and big events steer demand. The Formula 1 Las Vegas Grand Prix takes over the Strip each November, and the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo follows in December. July and August are the slowest months.
Owners across the valley work with a local Fleet Manager, Let's Go Camping RV Rentals, which partners with RV Management USA to clean, maintain, and rent RVs across Las Vegas and price them around the city's event calendar. Owners benefit from fly in visitors who land at Harry Reid International and want a rig for the open road. Nearby, see our Henderson page, or the Nevada page for the rest of the state.
