About 20 miles south of downtown Los Angeles, Long Beach is where the 405, the 710, and the Pacific Coast Highway come together. That puts an RV stored here within easy reach of Orange County beaches, the Central Coast, and the desert, and it means a steady flow of travelers who want a rig for a week but have nowhere to keep one. When a motorhome or trailer is used only a few weeks a year, the RV Management USA RV rental management program can turn that idle time into monthly income. A Fleet Manager takes over listing it, screening renters, running pickups and returns, and cleaning between trips, while you keep first dibs on the calendar.
Full commercial rental insurance on every trip. Your personal premiums are never affected.
It's still your RV. Reserve it for your own vacations whenever you want, at no charge.
We offer discoutned storage at all our locations.

Long Beach mixes a working harbor with a laid-back beach town feel. The RMS Queen Mary, a 1936 Art Deco ocean liner, is permanently docked across the harbor from the Aquarium of the Pacific, and the city's beachfront bike path runs past miles of sand toward Belmont Shore and Naples. Inland, El Dorado Regional Park covers 815 acres with fishing lakes, bike trails, and an archery range. From the downtown waterfront, Catalina Express ferries reach Catalina Island in about an hour, with frequent departures. Every April the streets downtown turn into a race course for the Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach, a long-running street race that draws big crowds.
Through consignment, an RV kept in Long Beach can bring in money while the rental work goes to a professional. Fleet Managers in the region, including Get Lost RV, manage the listing, guest questions, reservations, cleaning, key handoffs at pickup and return, maintenance coordination, and renter communication, so you are not juggling meetups around traffic on the 405. The city suits this well because its freeways and the Pacific Coast Highway put Orange County beaches, the Central Coast, and the desert within easy reach, while the Grand Prix, Catalina Island ferries, and the Queen Mary bring visitors to town. Renters book family beach vacations, weekend coastal trips, race weekends in April, and desert getaways once it cools. In return, owners get rental income potential, a professional team on every booking, an inspection and clean after every trip, freedom from renter logistics, and personal use whenever they block off dates. With space tight and off-site storage costly, the RV can earn instead of waiting for its next outing.
Yes. An RV in Long Beach, whether parked near the harbor or inland, qualifies for rental with a proper title, a current California registration, and insurance for paying renters. Each trip is protected through an approved rental platform or commercial rental policy, since a personal policy rarely covers paying renters. Hold on to records for taxes, and review local rules, condo board and HOA restrictions, street parking limits, and storage contracts, all of which shape where the RV is kept and picked up. The RV Management USA team works through these questions with you, and RV Management 101 gives a plain-English overview.
Earnings for an RV in Long Beach rest on its type, location, the season, its condition, availability, and local demand. Busy summers and big weekends like the Grand Prix in April pay especially well, with beach and Catalina trips filling calendars. As a general estimate, a late-model travel trailer or motorhome in California can earn around $10,000 to $25,000 or more per year. Motorhomes usually out-earn trailers because renters drive straight from pickup to the coast, and newer units, bunkhouse models and RVs with open peak weekends do best. Use our RV rental income calculator for your own numbers.
Renters in Long Beach pay the most for Class C motorhomes and camper vans. Class A coaches and bunkhouse travel trailers also book well. Renters want a rig that handles city streets and freeways without stress, so Class C units lead for families heading up the coast, while vans fit surfers in tight beach lots. Newer RVs with good air conditioning command the best rates, and owners in Pasadena see similar demand.
Long Beach RV storage usually costs around $100 to $250+ per month. Length drives much of the spread, along with RV type and on-site amenities, and an indoor or covered stall is priced higher than an open-air one. Coastal sun and salt air are good reasons to consider cover. Spaces of both kinds turn up around Long Beach and the wider Los Angeles area, and lots farther inland can sometimes cost less.
Our territory managers work with professional on-site maintenance teams to make sure your RV is meticulously maintained throughout the year. Your RV will benefit form ongoing attention and basic maintenance like tire checks before and after each rental, roof and slide out checks once a month, ongoing appliance testing, routine oil changes, and more. We want your RV in top shape all the time so that it can continue to perform well and generate revenue. As an RV owner in our program, there are 3 main types of maintenance costs to consider:
1) Routine maintenance: Oil changes, tire rotations, etc. Owners are billed periodically for these expenses at discounted rates, and the deduction can often come directly from the rental profits in a given month.
2) Rental Damages: Any damage to an RV that happens on a rental will be covered fully by the renter's security deposit and/or the commercial insurance coverage. Our managers deal with all claims and repairs at no cost to the RV owner - renters pay the deductible and your personal insurance is not involved.
3) Systemic maintenance: Systemic issues are the responsibility of the RV owner. A/C failure, water pump failure, fridge or hot water tank failure, etc. These are costs that arise from no fault of the renter. Warranty protection plans usually cover these systemic repairs, and our managers work with the warranty company and RV techs to get these fixed. Our managers will work with you to get your RV back in top shape as quickly and professionally as possible.
Long Beach demand climbs in spring and peaks from about June through August. Weather and events move bookings: the Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach brings a burst of visitors each April, while summer stacks up beach camping and Catalina trips. Fall stays busy with warm, dry weather, and winter brings desert-bound renters once temperatures drop.
RV Management USA places RVs from Long Beach with Fleet Managers in the region, such as Get Lost RV, which lists, rents, cleans, and looks after each one once it qualifies. Bookings often come fastest around holiday weekends, and each renter gets a full walkthrough before heading for the coast. Demand comes from visitors drawn by the Queen Mary and Catalina ferries, and from locals who want a rig for a week but have nowhere to keep one. Owners in nearby Los Angeles and Irvine use the same program.
